Monocube was founded in Odessa by bass player Hereticae (Andrzej Gladuszewski) at the early beginning of 2008. At that time a new guitar player came. The first recordings were inspirated by visiting Otto Dix's exhibition cycle War 1920-1924. Disharmony and atonality were taken as a principle. Interweaving guitars creates a sick atmosphere which reminds a mental asylum. That was the first recorded stuff, called Dronissimo in the the vein of drone/noise rock.

After some performances Hereticae decided to leave alone with his ideas which he wanted to realize completely. Having endured some impressions and experiences Hereticae wrote the second album named Vibramina Maeroris, which was some kind of minimalistic noise/drone ambient. It was released by Russian label Operator Produkzion in Feb, 2010.
Nowadays, miscellaneous collaborations and split-cd's are planned, some of them will be released limitedly.
