The band was formed in Spring 2012 by Green Regime, Estonian DJ and electronic music producer with his head totally in the 80's era. The initial idea was to perform a couple of instrumental tracks from his solo album Naive Chameleon with additional guitars and bass, but the drive in the rehearsal room was so enormous that in Summer 2012 the band was renamed as NEON NOIR and Green Regime started writing songs for the band.
